Perhaps you’re here because you’ve Googled a Scottish rally car driver, or maybe you really are looking for this Andrew Falconer, a Chicago area web technology consultant, maker of things that are used and experienced in browsers and on various devices. I can’t drive stick, but I’m guessing the other guy doesn’t know much about building websites, either.
I’ve worked in the Web for over 20 years. I’ve seen a lot of things change, and some things never change.
I’ve delivered projects with small boutique creative agencies, Fortune 500 companies with globally-distributed teams, in-house IT and Development groups, and third-party platform vendors. I enjoy big picture challenges, as well as digging into the details that matter–often in the same day. I have experience identifying and developing new business, presenting options and points of view to stakeholders, and architecting multi-phased plans. I lead cross-functional teams on internal and client projects, providing insight and prioritized context for the work. I am a systems thinker, and look to build utility and value that is flexible, extensible, and enabling to users.
